America's Cup Sailing Experience
Try out sailing on one of the of the America's Cup Yachts for a couple of hours. Viaduct Harbour, Downtown Auckland 0800 SAILNZ.

Bungy Jump
The Harbour Bridge also offers the chance to launch oneself into space depending solely upon the reliability of Mr. Hackett's rubber band. The jump is 40 metres, actually the lowest of the jumps offered by A.J. Hackett in New Zealand.

Auckland has many hills which make cycling hard work. There is a good cycle track around the harbourside to the east of Auckland city centre.

Auckland running
Auckland is a pleasant city to run around. The inner city run from Auckland Domain, through Western Park, down to Victoria Park and back along the promenade at Viaduct Harbour is about 10km. There are many other runs and they are detailed in an inner city running leaflet available at the Auckland tourist centre.

Ground Rush
This exercise consists of walking or running down the side of the Mercure Hotel for a distance of fifty metres. The walk is available daily between 11:00 and 14:00. The Mercure Hotel is in Customs Street near the ferry terminal.

Auckland has many walking opportunities. The Coast to Coast walkway is trail that takes about four hours and runs between Waitemata to Manukau harbours. This walk climbs to the top of Mt Eden and One Tree Hill. There are also some good walks on the islands and around Devonport.
